In your experience how long do you generally wait for Bruce to cash your deposit check and confirm the details of your order? (I'm not complaining, I'm just excited : )

I ordered my new D-10 with 8&9 from Bruce way back when he had nearly a 2 year backlog of orders which he was very up-front about.
When the time came, he contacted me to let me know he was about ready to start building the guitar and I supplied him with an Excel spreadsheet of my pedal & lever set-up. He made a couple of suggestions which allowed me to get some unique chord changes and that was it. He called me within 2 weeks to let me know the new steel would be ready the next week and what the balance would be.
The transaction with Bruce was every bit as great an experience as the quality and sound of his guitars. You cannot go wrong. He is undoubtedly today's "Stradivarius" of steel guitar builders.

Bruce's word is his bond. You can bet your bottom dollar on that. It has been my experience that he will make sure all the details are worked out in a timely fashion as needed.

Peter you need to know that Bruce isn't on-line so he normally responds via post ! But as already stated, there is no better man to deal with and he will keep you informed of progress.... and yes you should be excited mate I'm sure he will contact you after the convention.

Peter,
I've bought two Zums and have found Bruce easy to deal with. I just received my second, a SD10 hybrid, two weeks ago. I love it! He is a little slow with the paperwork side of the business but accurate with his lead times and information. He will give you an open ended guess(ie. middle of November) This is trade show time and he was getting ready for that a month ago when he was building mine.I think once that is over things will settle down. Trust me it will be worth the wait.
Thanks Terry

Bruce has built several steels for me. They have always been on schedule as he told me at the time of ordering.
I have great respect for anyone that keeps their word, and Bruce is at the top of the list.
