It is freaky to look at it reversed! Only steel players notice it and once in a while photographers will flip the photos that they shoot of me.

Where did he get the wood? An old house, bed, etc.?

I understand they were purchased from a defunct guitar company from the Phoenix area, thus they have been in the dry desert heat for those 30+ years.

Beautiful guitar...It should be a federal crime to cover wood like that with countertop material, put a little color stain or clear and let it shine !!!!!

My turn. Me. Me. Laughing

Seriously, that's really a beautiful instrument, Matthew. I think my 8 string is next in line from Chuck's bench.

Matt,That is an incredible looking guitar and I'm sure it sounds as good.I'm glad you guys mentioned that it was a left handed guitar...I thought that I was having flashbacks.I was told that wood was stored in a warehouse in Tuscon for 30 years,I'm pretty sure that my green D-10 guitar was also made from that wood...Now I'm ready to see b0b's 8 string.Chuck Back is so talented.Stu
