The guitar that Felton W. Williams is playing, Does the logo say Seymour, as in Bobbe Seymour? That is a cool look with the white and maple, the black head with gold hardware.
I'll bet you guys had a great time. Keep this up, there are a lot of us old white guys who are really getting into what you are doing. I am glad this style is getting some attention in the rest of the music world, after all these years, thanks to the efforts of guys like you.

Thanks for all of the kind words gentlemen, yes Felton is playing a Seymour steel guitar but it is owned by Ned Mayes. Isn't it beautiful and the sound is awesome.

Del Ray,

Thanks for the pictures. Is this an annual event? I would love to come to this show. It's good to hear the steel in a different context and what little I've seen of sacred steel players - at ISGC a couple of years ago and with RR on Austin City Limits - was inspiring and incredible.

Thanks,

Jon

I've seen a video of Bishop Ronnie Hall play and enjoyed it, IMO he is dead on. I'd like to see some videos of the other musicians at this meeting.

Hello Charles, yes Ronnie Hall is an awesome talent!
Please give us about two to three weeks for the video to be available. We will post it on the forum at that time.

Del, congratulations on the success of your first show. I wish you continued success.

Looks like the tradition is in good hands with the younger artists coming up too.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey there Del, my brother, and friend!
I just wanted to drop a line and say "Thank You" so much for allowing my family, and myself, along with the delegation of members of my church, to come to what I would consider as one of the greatest of family reunions, in the "community" of Sacred Steel.
We are "deeply" moved, to have been counted in among the "Legends", that are yet here in this world. To just see that what "Was", become that which now "Is"! What a joy!
I certainly look forward to next year, and the years to follow knowing that, we were there in the beginning. I too, am looking forward to the videos etc., that commemorate this tremendous day!
The warmest of blessings to you! Smile
Bishop R.P. Hall, and the Goldensacredstrings family

Hello Bishop Hall, without the help and cooperation of you and the other Legends that great day would not have been so great. To be in the presence of men with such wisdom, knowledge and integrity was very overwhelming to me. I only hope some of it will rub off on me.Bless you my friend!!
