I read here, last summer, that he had it ready to ship. I was always going to order it, but never got around to it. Then I heard "Remember When" and I sat right down and ordered it. Mr Green was very professional in his immediate shipping to me of my very own autographed copy! I could kick myself for not ordering it earlier. I deprived myself of listening to all that great music for several months!
As a beginner, (I hope to someday get to the next level), I have read of y'all talking about "that sound". When I heard the opening phrase of "Jukebox Charley", I knew what I want my next PSG to sound like! (And I know I could use a whole little red wagon load of talent too!)
Revisited is now in HEAVY rotation around here!

I got that one out here at work last Friday afternoon. I never play the CD without at least 1 or 2 repeats of the first track, Jukebox Charlie. I wish everyone could have seen Lloyd kick that one off at Scotty's last September. There is a real "coolness" factor working there. Ah! I think perhaps "charisma" is the word for it.

I got mine in St. Louis. Lloyd autographed it to my girlfriend. She is completely smitten with the guy, and absolutely loves his stuff with Alan Jackson. I've tried playing my old Sho-Bud through a blackface Fender Twin, and I've got some of his stuff tabbed out pretty darn close, but somehow, I can't seem to get quite the same tone. I wonder why? I suppose I'm just lucky that this lady loves the same stuff that I love. Now, if I can just keep her attention....

I can't imagine any steel player without this CD. Even Smiley has one! |

I think it's the best all-E9th CD ever made.

I've been listening for weeks now. Wow, what a touch and tone he has. It brings back memories of the instrumental albums he did early on, which inspired me to play the steel. |

I hope that Lloyd writes a book in the near future. All those years with different artists etc., his personal theory on music in regard to the psg. I believe that Lloyd has reached such professional heights in his music, such touch and imagination with the psg with the E9 tuning that I can only dream about. Lloyd I sure hope that you will consider sharing some of these and the effects that you use with your psg. Thank you. |

Ken Drost,
I believe Lloyd used a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp on this recording. The stock Eminence speaker was replaced with a 12" JBL D130F. |
