Hey Charles, Your group is in for a treat. We are lucky in this area to see the two Jody's regularly at our South East Texas Steel Guitar Club. They are both great entertainers, but you are also getting Darla! Darla is a classic country vocalist who puts a lot of feeling into songs. You are in for a good show.

One more bump for Charles Tilley and his super team that make it happen in Tyler! They work hard to promote the steel guitar and provide great monthly meetings...wish I could make it myself from Ft Worth! |

Darla and I would like to say what a wonderful time we had picking and singing at the show on Sunday. We've never been treated as graciously as we were by all the folks in Tyler. Thanks for having us - it was a wonderful time. Jody Sanders it was a pleasure to see you again as always!

All you would've needed was Jody Carver to complete the plan.

Smiley,
I have heard about Jody Carver and we would have loved to have 3 Jody's but didn't have a way to contact him for his support.
Great players come a long way to support our group here in Tyler, Texas. Bobbe Seymour flew all the way from Nashville just to play for us and be supportive of our group and the "STEEL GUITAR". Others have driven hundreds of miles to play for us (like Buck Grantham, Bob Simmons, Bob Mc Cormick and others too numerous to mention.
They are not only true friends of ours but true supporters of the instrument.
You pickers that want to come play for us be sure and contact me. We have our meeting/show every third Sunday in Tyler, Texas.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Smiley, If Jody Carver had showed up, I would have left my guitar in the case and give my slot also as we don't get to hear the legends of the steel guitar play as much as we would like to. And if Jody McCauley had showed up also, I probably would have passed out. Jody. |
