The Tribute part to Jeff Newman could not be played by anyone better than Randy Beavers - if that is not a name you know, it will be one you will know...Probably one of the world's best unknown names. Once you hear him, you will understand. He was Roy Clark's steel player at age 17, when Roy was Entertainer of the Year; and folks, he takes second place to no one...listen and you will believe; plus, one of the nicest people you could ever meet...Jeff thought the world of him; and they lived just down the road from Jeff; he was one of the first people at the crash seen. His performance will certainly be exceptional.

Just to let everyone know…I’ve just posted the updated 2004 International Steel Guitar Convention schedule on our web site. As always, this schedule is subject to change without notice. Scotty has worked on it for weeks and its looking like 2004 will be one of the best conventions we’ve ever had.

You can see the schedule at www.scottysmusic.com. We look forward to seeing all of you in St. Louis.
