Greetings-just confirmed with David that he will be able to be on our stage in Gulfport, Ms on the 7th of Aug. This is a special talent in our steel guitar world. Hope a lot of you can be here to meet and hear this man play. Thanks David for giving us this opportunity.
VFW Post 4526, Dedeaux Rd. Gulfport, Ms. Music starts at 11 AM and David will be on stage around 3:30 PM. David is quite busy with performances all over the south and we are most fortunate he gives us this opportunity to hear him.
Thanks again,

Bill Stafford

Bill.so glad that David is going to be at the DSSG&MA Jam on Aug.7.....He is a great player....it'll be very interesting to hear him and Doug do a couple of tunes together. WOW A great day is lined up.....I'll be there as will be "Philadelpheia". Our first single is getting air-play and, according to US Gospel News, has great charting potential. We are very pleased about that. Check us out at www.philadelpheia.com We'll be there bright and early to get things set up. Talked to Wayne Goff and he's gonna try and make this show if he doesn't go to Shreveport to his brothers wedding. Later. Aug 7 is getting closer.......

And if you think things just could not be any better, think again!! I have just been informed that Sera Buras will be at the show. (She has been in town and performing with David in the New Orleans area). Her father gave me that good news yesterday. This is really looking so good.
This lady has more talent under her little fingernail than just about anyone I know, and I really do know a lot of very, very talented folks. Sera is a great young talent and will certainely go very far in our music world. Your eyes and mouth will pop open after you only hear the first note from her beautiful and controlled voice. She plays piano just as well too. So Hal just might get some relief...lol

Thanks and see you soon, I hope.

Well Bill:
The good thing is, you ain't still ganging up on the old man,(BEN). I know that David always brings Brook, and the two of them put on quite a show, where ever they are. Now you couple that with the super talent of Doug Jernigan, I'd might better bring the nitro tablets. LOL !!!

Course my ole buddy Mike gonna take up a bunch of slack for me.

This one has the makings of on fantastic goings on. Ya'll load up the buses and come be with us. Where ever you are, it will be well worth the drive.

See Ya'll Saturday.
P.S. Ole Higgins is gonna tighten up to.

AND, to TOP this all off- Word has reached me that the "RED HAT SOCIETY" ladies will be marching though the building all afternoon and especially when the "Dixieland" music portion with the Mississippi Coast Jazz Society musicians perform along with DSSGA members Ed Clark and Mike Brewer. Hopefully, we will be able to install Doug Jernigan and David Easley on stage with this group of really good wind instrument musicians. Should be a lot of color added to this event and we will all enjoy great fellowship and the perfect pretty music all afternoon. Thanks to all..

We had a great time this past Saturday!!
David is one of the few gifted players who can get super players like Doug Jernigan to move out of his booth, find a seat with unobstructed view to watch and listen. We were all treated to a duo that is seldom seen or heard when David's tuba player walked on stage. This was another unexpected treat for us. Thanks so much David for giving us your time and great talents. David has mentioned that he will be back in Oct also.
