Does the parking lot of the Millenium hotel accomodate the parking of self-contained RV's like the Harvey Hotel does at the Dallas Show?
If not...where do the vendors and others who travel by RV park their units during the Show?

Gene,
I believe there is an RV park on the riverfront not far from the hotel (walking distance). I'll see if I can find out more today. |

Gene,
The RV park I was thinking of is apparently no longer there. However, I've been advised that the closest, best RV camping is at the Casino Queen, just across the river in Illinois. There is a shuttle available to either downtown St. Louis or the Metrolink station (train) if you don't have a vehicle to run around in. See you at the convention.
Almost forgot, you can make a reservation at casinoqueen.com.

Gene,
There was a parking lot about two blocks down the street from the Millinium..(west of the hotel.)
It was an open air pay lot which is owned by the city of St Louis..they also own the parking garage across the street from the hotel..People who have hi-top vans and other vehicles too large ,or too tall for the garage, used the lot..
The hotel has only a few parking spaces...they have their customers use the city lots...
Don't know about the rates, but they have to be better than a park, or the garage..The garage is $15.00 per day...
But if you are not self contained, and need services, I don't know the closest park..
Give the hotel a ring and they may be able to help you..
Lots of luck

Gene. Some of the guys park their RV's at a nice concrete, fenced in park with a 24 hour guard on duty. Jeff Newman always used it. He even slept in it and traveled back and forth to the hotel each day.
St. Louis RV Park
900 N. Jefferson
St. Louis, MO
Phone (314) 241-3330
The park is about 20 blocks or so from the Millennium and I think there is a bus close by or take a taxi to the hotel.
Once you get checked in at the hotel you can take Market street west to Jefferson and turn right (north) about 2 blocks or so. See you in St. Louis. Scotty

I stayed in the Casino Queen last year. There is a bridge crossing the River just a few blocks north of the Millenium that comes out right at the Casino and RV park.
I was referred there last year and was told it was by far the nicest and safest place to park. It was Top notch in my opinion.
The park had security guards who stopped you at the gate and had you verify who you were and what your space number was.
While traveling and staying there, felt absolutely no exposure to the bad reputation that East St Louis has as you bareley cross the river.
Your eating problems are solved as the casino has all night resturants ,excellent food and excellent prices. Traveling time is 10 to 15 minutes. |

Again, I surely appreciate the info I am getting from all of you nice folks.
My ONLY knowledge of St Louis and East St Louis, is left over from my days stationed at Fort Leonard Wood a long time ago!
