This is what came to me - I wonder about how many different kinds of Nothing are there?

Does anyone have any idea about this?

There are exactly three, Don:

1) Nothing here
2) Nothing there
3) Nothing anywhere

I mean there are three so far as I know; but keep up the deep thinking __ if you discover a fourth please share it. :D

Thanks for your help on identifying some of the nothing categories or various kinds of nothing.

I just thought of two more - nothing anyhow and nothing anyway.

By the way, those are "southern expression" categories. ;-) :o

Recorded by the world-famous Alan F Brookes Septet, which consists of:
Lead Vocal: Alan Brookes
1st Harmony: Alan Brookes
2nd Harmony: Alan Brookes
3rd Harmony: Alan Brookes
4th Harmony: Alan Brookes
5th Harmony: Alan Brookes
6th Harmony: Alan Brookes
Hawaiian Guitar: Alan Brookes

Just be grateful that I recorded it on my 8 channel machine. On my 24 channel machine you would have had another 16 vocals by, guess who, Alan Brookes :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:
Is no-one going to sing along with me ? I'd buy drinks all round, but it's difficult to arrange that over the internet.

So, When's somebody going to nominate us for the Guinness world record, I'm ready to be famous! :D

If we were in the book, people would ask what it took to make the record. We could say, "Ah, it was nothin'"

"Nothing" is nothing like a Guinness. By the way, the Guinness that they sell for export is NOTHING like as strong as the stuff they sell in Ireland and Britain, as American tourists often find to their cost on their travels. And then, of course, the Irish pint is 20 ozs., not the short 16 ozs. you find over here. 8)

Hey Alan,

Thanks for that recording of Happpy Birthday to Nothing. Nothing could have been more appropriate.

I have a request. Do you think next year you could do The Sounds of Silence instead?
