What do you call those things that hold the rod into the bell crank so it doesn't slip out? Lock washers? Mine just broke for the sixth string on the E9 neck, and I can't raise my G# to A. I can't find a replacement at the hardware store. And I'm kind of a beginner at this. HELP!!! _________________ Matt Cordano |

If you can send me a picture of what the part is you need I may have some I've removed from an inprogress rebuild. Bill |

Could it be what's referred to as a "circlip"? Need a pic to be sure. Should be able to find them at a good store. |

They're usually called "E-clips". |

If the rod is bent @ a 90 on end and slips through a hole in the clip and the clip then locks down on the rod itself it's what I have. I'd call them "throttle linkage clips" as that's the only other place I've ever seen them used in 68 years. |

I'll try to get a picture up soon. By the way, my guitar is a Rains D-10, and I think it's a 2002. _________________ Matt Cordano |
