Never Again, Again (Who Is It)

Post by Charles French »

Heard some girl sing this last nite on CMT. Young blond...goes something like "I say never again, again"...caught the tail end as it was going off...has to be one of the best songs I've heard in ages! Anyone know who this is?

Lee Ann Womack from Jacksonville, Texas...small town girl made it big, her dad was a school principle over in East Texas.....This girl can sing, as far as I'm concerned she right up there with Tammy, Loretta etc...

FWIW, Never Again is on Lee Ann's self titled first CD I believe. From 1997. Yes, a good tune and a fun one to play, with interesting twists and turns. Lee Ann has a really fine voice too IMO and has done some nice recordings.

First time I heard Lee Ann sing "Never Again, Again" was at a concert back in 1990 something. She open for King George at the Oakland Coliseum. I was an instant fan. I have all her CD's and play them often.
