Thanks Bobbe Seymour

Post by Bryan Daste »

Just wanted to say THANKS to Bobbe Seymour and crew over at Steel Guitar Nashville. I was touring through the area with my band last month, and I got the chance to stop in and see the place. Bobbe showed me some of the newest steels, including a Jackson with a very interesting new changer design. I also picked up some Cobra Coil strings, which I just put on (so far, I like them a lot)! Everyone in the store was very helpful, and Bobbe even sent us home with some free music. Thanks Bobbe!

Anyone interested in this instrument could not do better than spend an hour in Mr Seymour's company. He has a view on just about everything steel guitar related and is not shy to give an opinion or two!

He is a walking encyclopaedia on many topics, including planes, cars and motor cycles. Above all he loves all things steel guitar, and his continued (and genuine) enthusiasm is great. As we Limeys would say - "He's a good Geezer!"

I'm confident that our Bobbe will be in possession of a SGOF plaque later this year. :D

Looks like Bobbe rearranged the furniture again. He's the best friend a steel player could have.
