yeah, retro stylings ...they should include some of those flag striped bell bottoms from back in the day with it...lol...hey at least you would stand out...if the price were right, and it sounded good...who knows man...if it sounded killer then it would be really sweet...it does have a certain charm to it... |

I would like to have one of the Marlin guitars. Probably not one with a paint scheme that radical though. _________________ You can observe a lot just by looking |

This is truly a "universal" steel. It could've played Philadelphia Freedom with Elton John, or Act Naturaly with Buck, and looked at home on stage with both! |

I wonder if that was built for our bicentennial celebration.

If I had that guitar I would slide over the fountain at Ceaser's Palace on it.
It's not ugly - you just have to be able to pull it off.

Scott Hay, I didn't think about that. Of course it's the Marlen-Davidson Evel Knievel model. I bet old Evel coulda jumped a bunch of em end to end. |

Make no mistake about it. The finish on this guitar is totally out there! I would buy it and proudly play it in a heartbeat, if I had the extra cash laying around.
Nothing else could say "mid 70's" like the finish on this guitar. This guitar reminds me of a lot of my elementary school art projects. |

I remember, back in the 70's, that, Jeff Newman played a red, white, and blue steel. I don't remember if it was a Marlen or not. He always sounded good on anything, though.
BTW- I like the steel! |
