I am playing a wedding reception in Iowa City this Saturday and will be spending the night. I was wondering if there were any bands playing on Sunday in the area that have a steel player? |

Chuck, I had a great time at the Sunday Jam. Everyone was really friendly and there was some great music being played. I especially got a kick out of jamming with Tommy Holder, I loved his playing and singing, the way he throws in lots of cool Jazz chords. Your Fessy played and sounded great, thanks for letting me play it. I will definately try to make it back sometime. Thanks again for inviting me and let me know if you are going to make the St. Louis Convention this year.

WC, I had a great time in Iowa City, it seems like a nice town. I always thought you were from the K.C. area. I too grew up in a college town ( Champaign/Urbana IL.) and Iowa City has the same kind of vibe. Rose, I enjoyed hearing and meeting Johnny at the American Legion Jam. I hope to make it up that way again sometime, its a fun jam session, great players, lots of nice people. You C&W pickers from the East Moline area are lucky to have such a cool jam session to attend every week. I hope to see some of you at the convention in St. Louis this year.
