Ok, so I've been lazy about getting these pictures up, but I recently bought an MSA SuperSlide!
It is:
12 string single neck
emerald green
flamed maple veneer (more on that in a second)
peraloid pick guard
4 leg stand

It has a "two of a kind" veneer. At the moment, Maurice's steel is red with flamed maple, and mine is green, and currently the only other one with that veneer on it. The sides are an extremely dark green, but the color is visible in a well lit room.

I have more pictures if you want them.

That looks great! How is the string spacing working out for you?

How are you tuning it?

The string spacing is great, it's about what I'm used to on my Carter D-10 PSG, so I was able to just sit down and play it.
The tuning is C6 with the strings going from low to high: D F A C E G A C E G B D, with the B and D strings lower than the C and E strings, respectively.

Matthew, that is one of the nicest looking SuperSlides I've seen yet, love the color scheme.

I'm still hoping there is one in my future, but between three kids in college and effects of the recession on my household, it just hasn't been in the cards.

But man, that is slick! Cool

Those are beautiful guitars. Matthew,Did you play 12 string before? I worry about getting use to the chromatic strings on top,but I really like the concept.

No, this is my first non-pedal steel, and I went all out. It's really nice of how many different chords you can get at one fret with no bar slants: 1, 5, 4, 4M7, 1M7, 6m, 3m, and I probably forgot a couple.

Check out this one! I had MSA make me the "missing" pick guard (for the side where your hand actually touches the guitar.)

ooh, nice!
The main reason I got the pickguard is because I thought it would be a nice contrast.
