B3 Bass really gets me lathered up! I wish I knew more about how the really good ones like Joey do it? I do know that most of them use their feet AND the left hand.
I've also heard something about a "foldback" mod, or some such thing. What ever it is, I like the warm fuzzy truely bass part the most.

Andy, I'm not positive, but I think the drummer is Dennis Chambers. And you're right he is joy to behold. Dennis, not surprisingly, "picks" with many jazz greats.
