turn off user account in xp

Post by Stuart Legg »

I need to run my biab on my old computer which has windows xp and I just discovered I don't know how to turn off my user account in xp. Biab is not going to work right until I do. Save me some time and give me a hint. Thanks

Did you look at "user accounts" in the control panel?

It's in the administrator account controls. You have to log in as administrator instead of a user.

Thanks Andy and Tamara. I have already looked in user accounts and clicked on administrator account and there is no option to turn it off. It seems I can only select a new administrator.
I looking for someone who has made that change who can give me the click this and then click this and then this etc.. It is so easy to do in vista but there has to be some trick to it in XP.
