I'm looking at ordering a new steel from Fred Justice. He seems like a great guy and steels look awesome. Kinda looking for open comments from anyone with a Justice pedal steel guitar. I'm considering the "Judge" model SD10 4&5.

Anything you order from Fred will be first class. Whether it be a guitar, case or whatever, doesn't matter. High standards and a great picker to boot.

hello Dennis B. I bought the SD-10 from fred Justice when I was at the Dallas TX. jam this last march. I sit on it & it got my attention. I love it.for what it's worth I had a D-10 2007 ZumSteel & I loved it. but I play on weekends & very seldom used the C-6th neck so I sold it for a good price & here I am playing the judge!!! Very Happy Fred is a great friend & very good builder, so if you want to talk to me about the guitar just call me (816)566-3087 or E-mail me at viper500mag@yahoo.com I'll be glad to answer any questions. jerry F.

Dennis, I don't own a Justice guitar (yet) but I can tell you they sound awesome. I just caught Fred at one of his gigs in Mesa this past week. I checked out the guitar from top to bottom, it's a real gem. Fred's a straight shootin' down to earth gem, himself. Fred told me he knew exactly the tone he was after when he set out to design the perfect PSG. I think he hit a homerun. I wouldn't hesitate for a second.

Last winter, I had the pleasure of visiting with Fred for an afternoon at his home and shop. I had an opportunity to listen to and play his guitars (a few of them). I also had the opportunity to pick Fred's brain about some of his design features, and design innovations. I had a chance to take a really close look at the build quality. I was very impressed in every regard. I don't own one of his guitars, and my only relationship with Fred is purely collegial so my observations are pretty objective. I believe that The guitars that I saw represent high quality and value in a fully pro model guitar at a very attractive price. I got no indications of corner cutting, but rather an emphasis on practical optimization and doing things that will make the best sound and playability possible regardless of price point. ( Lots of high quality and very cool attention to detail) It is my belief that Fred is the kind of person whom will provide customer service and satisfaction, that is equal to that of the finest Boutique hand builders.

Fred is great to deal with. All of his products seem to be top-notch. I've been drooling over his guitars for awhile now.

I don't know a single person that has anything bad to say about Fred. On top of being an amazing player, he is funny, friendly, knowledgeable and honest to a fault!!!

Fred is a super nice guy, and he will treat you right.

He is also a great player, and I know why, he practices in his sleep!!! LOL

Boys I just wanted to jump in and say how very much I appreciate all the nice things you all said about me and a double thank you for the great comments on the "Justice Steel Guitars"

As I have explained to a few people, Jerry Foster is my only customer that belongs to this Forum. Thus the other guitars I have built and sold will not be seen or heard from on this forum. And we all know how useful this forum is in promoting one's product.

Therefore I have invested in a good camera that is You Tube ready, however my computer was not. So my good friend Matt Proudy is helping me get it set for filming.

my plan is to post a tune on You Tube like maybe once a month or so to help in the promotion of the "Justice Steel Guitar". I'll let you all know when I'm ready to post on You Tube.

Anyway, thank you all again so very much for your great support in all of my products, God bless.

If I wasn't playing a Rittenberry, I would have a Justice, just because I love my brother Fred, and because he build's a great steel.
One of the most caring people in the business.

To The Top for a great friend and great guitar. I wish he built a D-10, but the market is soft for D-10's and strong for SD-10's
