Your points about safety are well taken. Thank you for recognizing my accomplishments. I worked very hard for my education, and yes, I think Mom is proud.

I've played through Mickey's setup, except it was his Mullen D-10 G2 that he had for sale at the TX show last March. It's a state-of-the-art setup, but expensive. I bought a Peavey TubeFex preamp off of ebay back in 2003 and have been playing through it ever since. I really like the sound(s) I can get through it. It's very versatile and has a built in tuner, which I use regularly. I've been considering building an "alternate" rig and using the DigiTech GSP1101, as it also has a built-in tuner AND built-in headphone amp, a plus for fine tuning in noisy conditions. The DigiTech also has a USB port for patching into recording software - sorta handy for home recording stuff. Has anyone used one of these? If so, I'd really like to hear your review, as I'm seriously considering dropping the dough for a new one.Mickey Adams wrote:Besides of course my >>>S12 Mullen G2<<<
