I watched Mikes' show tonight and it had Stephen Curtis Chapman on instead. The Governor said that Ray couldn't make it. So he was able to get Stephen, to do the show.He did a fantastic job.

They said that Ray was going to be on; although I thought that it may be a rerun, I am willing to see Ray anytime I get a chance. Maybe he will be there next time. Something like this makes me gunshy about passing on information.

Ray Price was on Mike's show last night along with Willie Nelson. They were great but too much fiddle and not enough steel. Steven Curtis Chapman was also on. I believe it was clips from previous shows.

O.K. I'm going to get in trouble for this post. IMHO would have preferred the Steel backup for "Faded Love" to have been in C6th instead of the E9th Nashville tuning. Ray and Willie have enough trouble harmonizing together without all the E9th pedaling between chords. Still, it's great to see them both still active and touring. (yes, I am an Old Geezer set in my ways}.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I was sidetracked that day and forgot to watch, but I'm glad that Ray was on after all.
