I have a fingertip D10. I love it. I gigged with it, and it was very stable and kept in tune great. I'm currently refurbishing it. One thing about the fingertips, is the undercarrage is noisey. But a few strips of well placed foam does wonders. Mine was so noisey I had to keep my twin above 4 on the volume knob.
