WOW!!!!!!!!!!
First, I want to say..that this will be my 3rd
CHOO CHOO Jam!! and What a Fantastic line up..
How Many Hall of Famers? at least a couple or more! The backup boys!!! Jim Unger an't right,
but ok for a former D>C> area guy.Jim IS CRAZY!!but HE CAN PLAY ABSOLUTLY ANYTHING on the FOUR String Fiddle..He don't even need charts!! He only has them up there to impress the audience. My Buddy Ben Brogden seems to show up everywhere that Herby Walace does. I think that he gets a ride with Herby in exchange for unloading the trailer! But Ben can, like Jim, can play anything!!!! Just give him the KEY..and he's off. Bobby Caldwell!!!!!One of the ULTIMET Guitarist in the world! I don't think that he needs charts Either..Give him the Key and he's off.Great vocalist too! Roy Rosetta of Texas. He's the Great pianist that keeps some sanity with this crazy bu very talanted CREW. I don't know the drumer...but he MUSY ALSO be on the same insanity level as the rest of the Gang. Folks...This back up band is as good as it gets.
I'm happy to see my mentor from way back in the Wasington DC area Mystro Clyde Bloodsworth who Now lives in Warner Robins, Georgia (where I Retired from the U.S. Air Force)be on the Pickers list. Clyde is very much the technician of the PSG. And he plays so smooth with very much feeling! As with the rest.... You know most of them ..and they ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!! What a time we are going to have

Sorry to have to add this, but I will not be performing at the Chattanooga show. Barry and I hadn't spoken to confirm anything about including me in the schedule, and I was already booked for that weekend.
I'm sure that there was no negative intent on Barry's part - (listing me as a performer before speaking with me), but I feel the need to post some kind of correction to let people know that I will not be playing at this year's show.
I enjoyed attending last year's show, and I'm sure with the line-up in store for those attending - it will be an even better show this year.
All My Best,
David Spires
