I have a Sho Bud Pro III with a plastic piece that screws on to a rod and connects to the LKL. It just broke I suppose it's a fairly common phenomenon but its never happened to me. Where do I get another? Does anyone know what this part is called? |

It sounds as though you may require the services of the shop at Steel Guitar Nashville, Bobbe Seymour - Proprietor! I think that would be my first inquiry. _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

Possibly the most sought-after undercarriage part in Sho~Bud history. Seymour has thousands of them. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Thanks all. I figured Bobbe would have them, but did not see them on his website. I'll give him a call on Monday. It will give him a chance to talk me into buying more gear Does anybody know if this part has a name or is it just "plastic doo-hickey that connects the lever to the rod on a Pro III"? _________________ Ken Drost

Mine were broken when I bought my (described as "plays and sounds great") Pro ll off ebay in 1998. I used some green florist's wire to wrap it tight, then coated the whole thing with epoxy.. they have both been holding for 11 years. I have often wondered why Sho~Bud didn't use the same connecters that are on the end of the pedal rods. If my plastic/wire/epoxy ones ever give out, I'm just going to by a couple of those... not that I know where you can get them.. I guess from Bobbe Seymour. |

I replaced mine at both ends w/ metal pedal rod connectors (the side mount ball joints mentioned by Nic) during my Pro-II rebuild with"Coop" parts.
