Sorry for the long absence, my off-season has officially ended.
...I just had a video shot of me playing "Song Of Old Hawaii" which gave my Georgeboard's Blackburst some much needed usage at a recent cocktail hour.
Hope you enjoy, all comments are welcome and encouraged!

Very nice, Josh! I really enjoyed watching that. You have a very positive demeanor when you play, and that's a good thing. Smiles go a long way in the music business! A lot of steel players stare at their strings and do not relate to the audience at all, and that's a turn off, in my opinion. People want to see the musicians enjoying themselves!
One minor thing I noticed... your guitar looks a little low, in my opinion... you seem to be reaching down, even bending your knees sometimes. Maybe it's just a matter of preference, but it looks like the guitar should be a little higher. Overall a very nice clip, great job! _________________ My Site / My YouTube Channel

Mahalo Doug and Andy, You guys rule! Thanks for the kind words.
Doug, you're right the 'George' was a little low that night. (It was my "road manager's" first day on the job!! )
It's such a rush to be able to play for others and share music in a positive vibe. _________________ Lap-n-Console Steel Guitar Lessons |

Josh,
The Song of Old Hawaii is such a nice classic Hawaiian song. Mahalo for sharing it.
What tuning are you using?
I like to play that particular song in C#m7 which seems to give it a nice old Hawaiian sound.
Aloha no,

Don,
Thanks for your comments. I'm using C6 for this performance, with the song in the key of F.
Thanks again for your comments!
