Mr. Reece, I have been playing your fine intruments since 1974, and have just aquired my newest-and so beautiful sounding- a burgandy maple laquer S-12 called "The Universal" XL supersustain II. It's serial # is 1C7101. Could you tell me something about that era in your manufacturing experience? This is my 14th MSA steel and I just love the tone! |

Hi Ward......It's hard to say whether you or Paul Wade has owned the most MSA guitar's.
Serial number 1C7101 was originally shipped to Bill Payne in Lakeland Florida. It shows to be a walnut color Universal 12 string which left the factory with 8 pedals and 5 knee levers. The exact date of production was not entered into record, however I would guess it was produced in late 1982.
All of us at MSA greatly appreciate the loyalty of our many customers over the years. |

.........as far as I know Darvin own's the most MSA's. However, what I was referring too was the number of personal MSA guitars owned over time. I would think Ward having had 14, would be close to the record. |
