New Ambient CD : " First Light On Dark Waters"

Post by Kevin Macneil Brown »

For those who might like to listen, here's the long ambient soundscape title track from my new CD. Six string lap steel with live processing.

Thanks for lending your ears. Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful, Kevin. I am always taken by the immediacy in which you are able to summon a natural phenomenon, immerse the listener in the experience, and blur that always shaky distinction between the observer and observed.

Thank you for sharing this work of art.

Thank you, Susan. I'm glad you enjoyed this. And I am, as ever, grateful for your comments-- and your generous, attentive listening.

You're more than welcome, Kevin. I try not to read too much into a piece of music (or sound in general), but in this piece, I feel like there's something very deep, very large, and very all-encompassing - quite an exerience for the listener. Beautiful work.
