Our next meeting is Sun. June 7th at 2:30PM at the Life Church Bldg. in Katy. Directions are on Billy's post on May 20th. Remember, we are going to use the side entrance this meeting. So go past the play ground to the side gate. All players have two songs ready. We ask that one of your tunes be Gospel. Regardless of your playing level bring your guitar and play. Billy Phelps is the featured player and will be mostly a Gospel format. We will have a short teaching segment if time permits. We will also have the JAM. Players be there by two to load in and set up. Don't forget, if you want to have lunch at the Church for their fund raiser, come at noon. $8.00 per plate. See you there. Jody,Billy, and Patty.

I will be there to play for the first time in public. Gale Hughey is supposed to come out with his first time playing in public too. Brownies are still going to be brought to the meeting if David Jones and I don't get hungry on the way from San Antonio....might end up being a bag of ginger snaps if we get too hungry..jr

I won't be there, but I'll make sure I wear my t-shirt and I'll play at home while you guys are at it. Does that count?

I plan to come and will be bringing John, my bass player, and David Waters, guitarist from Billy Mata's Texas Tradition. Also, my mother, my brother, my nephew, and who knows who else, will be there. Sounds like it will be a great meeting!!

Jody,

Don't know if I could make it today, but can anyone come to listen and enjoy at these meetings? I always hear about these things, but I have never gone. I'd love to come and listen to steel guitar all afternoon.

Bill

Jody's already gone to the meeting I would guess.
Yes everyone is welcome at the meetings to listen to play and anything else legal and non offensive in a church environment.
