Hey Guys, just wanted to let everyone know that we will hold the first annual "Jeff Jam" on June 7, 2009 starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Appleshed in Clarksville, Missouri. Jeff, as some of you know, passed away from liver failure on March 20. June 7 would have been his 43rd birthday and we decided to remember him by having a jam session, food, and a raffle for various items, including a Fender Telecaster (his brand of guitar). Admission is free, but we hope you'll donate to the cause, which is the American Liver Foundation. We hope to find a cure for Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH), which took his life far too soon. For those of you who didn't know Jeff personally, it's rumored that Duane Dunard will be making an appearance!

Joe; What is the format for Jeffjam? Is it an open jam session or is it a set format? Would like to come if at all possible. Larry

Hey Larry...basically it's open with a few set things. LaNise Kirk and the band (Jeff's last employer) will be there and I'm sure they'll be doing some things and will run sound. Other than that, we have a gospel music group coming from Louisiana, and I'm sure they'll do their own thing...after that, it's just pick till we all get tired of each other.
