Dwight, would you call the tone of these laps bright and twangy, or a rounder, jazzy sound? Just trying to get an idea if these are good for country or blues gigs? thanks

Dwight, can you link to sound files of these lap steels being played? I need an 8-stringer, but won't buy anything without an audio preview. And I wish these had volume and tone knobs. They sure look nice!

I will try to get you that to you. I am not familiar on how to do this but I think I will learn real quick so I can have clips from all my stuff.

If you have a little digital recorder (like my Zoom H2, but there are others), you can record an MP3 file and just email that to me.

With a cheap little USB mic you could record audio samples into your computer directly and email me the MP3 audio.

Hope you can do this!

Thanks, John

The pickups were handmade by the same person that built the guitar. THEY ARE SINGLE COILS. and sound nice and full. Surprisingly full. Impedance is 15k.
Thanks and GOD BLESS
