| Nice stuff Steve. That's the same PS as you used the other day, right? What tuning are you using in this clip? Can you tell us about your picking style, how you came up with it and such?? It seems that you are using a holding a regular pic with your thumb and first finger and then picking with your middle and ring finger. |

| Thanks for posting those Steve, very nice playing, I tried one in Dallas and could not understand why it was so light, my suspicion was that it featured a new high density foam type body but no one has cared to comment upon this, I just wondered what your feelings were or whether you could shed any light on the matter. |

Hey Stephen, it's tuned to open E. Regarding my picking, it's flatpicking and fingers (hybrid picking), introduced to me through an Eric Johnson video where he was demonstrating how he played the intro to "Cliffs Of Dover". I tried using a thumbpick when I started playing lap steel, and it never felt right - probably 'cause I'm primarily a flatpicking guitarist.
Kevin, I'm not sure about the body, but it wouldn't surprise me if you're right - it sure is light!

It was specified in some of the Peavey literature I saw at either the display in St. Louis last Sep. or elsewhere. Don't recall for sure, but I'll dig around. I'm sure it said basswood though at that time. Things change though, so cons't. may have as well.

Great playing!
I love the powerslide, these things are bound to catch on with more guitarists... maybe become more common in rock and popular music.
Steve, your videos are sure to inspire some young budding musicians to learn the steel!
I may need to buy another powerslide before they get so popular the price goes up!
