Knee lever problem

Post by Jesse Michaels »

I am new and so ignorant about this instument. I bought a Carter Starter new. After spending 6 or 7 days getting it tuned - I find that my LKR lever is very tight. The other levers work fine. What do I do to fix this?

sounds like you have over adjusted your tuners.

LKR on a Starter is normally stiffer than the other levers, in my experience with guitars owned by my students.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Thank you for the advice. I'm going to readjust the tuners and be aware that this lever is going to be a bit stiffer.
