I've been asked what I think would be good pieces for a wedding ceremony. Pachelbel's "Canon in D" is the only piece we are sure on. We need a couple more.
I'll be playing with a guitarist and would like to come up with something nice and different so we won't have to play "Bridal March(Here Comes the Bride)". However, if any of you know of an interesting arrangement of Bridal March, I'm all ears. |

Play Elvis' "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You". It lays out well on the steel guitar and makes a great wedding-type song. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Ken Champion played the first 16 bars of the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata #8 at my wedding. It sounded great on steel and worked perfectly in place of the wedding march.
You can hear it here:

That first part could be repeated if you need to fill more time.
At the end of the ceremony, he did a festive version of Great Speckled Bird/Wild Side of Life (a little inside joke there). |

" MISTY" is a great wedding tune. You can use it anywhere in the event and you can play it alone or with a band. Great tune for a wedding. Fred |
