I guess we can never have enough tunings. I discovered that my Artisan lap steel is just the right height to snuggle up to the D-6 real nicely. I took a Musicians Friend keyboard table and made a padded top for it, and it's just wide enough to make a kinda T-6.

I read on the Forum somewhere that a guy bought three Rogue or Artisian 6 stringers and made up some kind of a stand and wired them together and made a very playable T-6 for around $250.oo !! Would probably work out O.K. !!!! Eddie "C"
