That was simple enough. I thought that you wanted a detailed list of musicians on every song. That changes from song to song. Thank you Mike. It will take some time to sit down and write it all out. Hope you enjoy the videos and the cd.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to invite you to a show I'll be doing with Paul this Friday April 10th here in Nashville at the Family Wash. The show will start at 8PM and go roughly until 11PM. The band will consist of...

David Peterson - Guitar/lead vocal
Paul Franklin - Pedal Steel Guitar
Dennis Crouch - Upright Bass
Richard Bennett - Electric Guitar
Luke Bulla - Fiddle/tenor vocal
Tommy Giampietro - Snare

We hope you can come join us for some country music.

Dave Peterson

P.S. The Family Was is located on the corner of Greenwood and Porter Rd. in East Nashville.

Thanks.

I ordered two copies of Dave's CD last week, and what do you know they arrived this morning. Everything you've read on this forum is true, this record is really a must for anybody who is into the steel and into real country music. The material is all pretty obscure, and thus fresh, and the level of craftsmanship on this album is truly peerless. And I mean, the playing, singing, song choices, enginering, and when you think the thing was done live with no headphones, it's enough to make me never want to do an internet session again. Truly, music was meant to be made this way, people playing together in a room.

Paul's solo on "You're Too Easy to Remember" literally had me laughing out loud, what he does is so over the top in concept, execution and out-of-this-world soul. Buddy and John's playing is of course matchless, what can you say?

I really think everybody on this forum should own a copy of this album, it's really important that Dave be supported for making such a bold statement.

I've listened to it three times already! Can't wait to get home to practice, such an inspiring accomplishment, thanks for a great record David!

And thanks to Paul for his post about the album, I would probably have never heard about it otherwise.

Gerald,

Just a note to say thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you're enjoying the cd. Everybody has been so nice to us here on the forum. I will be posting some videos of the show the other night with Paul and I. Anyway, thanks again.

Dave Peterson

P.S. Paul really did crush that solo.
