I'm just surprised how much we tried to make something of it :P

That's the whole problem, if you make something of it, you would definatley be off topic!! So the best way to stay on topic, is to do nothing.

Charlie, your off topic. Your trying to tell us something. But don't worry, we will make nothing of it. :P

How different would the world be had Einstein, Washington, or Edison spent this much time contemplating "Nothing?" ...

And had Emmons, Day, Green, and Franklin spent their time posting replies about "Nothing," there would be "Nothing" worth listening to in country music.

I was going to make a point, but it's probably nothing.

:P

I believe all those famous people, and most of the rest of us, spent many hours contemplating nothing. Nowadays it's called Meditation. The subject Meditation isn't nothing, but its practice is. :whoa: :whoa:

Of course, if we REALLy think about nothing, in other words our brainwave patterns stopped, we would collapse unconscious, and if our subconscious also stopped operating, we would cease to exist. (It's called universal death.) :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

And yet in meditation we strive for nothing as the idea.
Nothing and yet everything as one.

(oddly all weekend I have been recording music for meditation,
sung in Indian sanscrit....)

Now there's something. Sing in the only language in the world that has gone unchanged for five thousand years, with no living native speakers, and, unless you're a Hindu priest, most people will understand NOTHING. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Let's go a few dozen generations earlier, and sing in Indo-European. That will confuse even more people. :whoa: :D :whoa: :D :whoa: :D
