Hi Leroy. Thank you for your efforts in behalf of the Oklahoma steel guitar club. When I see all of the things that you and the others like Ken are doing to make this club sucessful, I am even more cognizant of my hearing problem and my inabiity to help!

I have made an appointment to assess my hearing problem again and pray that my previous assessments have been incorrect (that it is not correctable). My last evaluation told me that surgical or hearing aids would not solve my problem.

Thanks for your intervention and may GOD give me a solution.

Well Leroy,

Looks like you, me, Jill, Cliff, and Wayne are gonna have it to ourselves Whoa!
That is, unless the backup band is there, too.
Sooo.....with only Leroy, Cliff, and Wayne on steel....us backup band folks are gonna outnumber the steelers Laughing

See you there-bright and early......Joel

John,
Yes, Sir. It was fun.
You oughta just jump on I-40 and come pick with us next month.
And why not pile some of those horns on top of your steel and bring them, too?
I think the next jam will be 20 June. (Leroy will know and post the next jam date.)

Ernie,
We had 8 steels, fiddle, bass, harp (the 36-string kind), 2 tele-pickers, and drum set.
Of course, Hutch kicked off several songs with his superb vocals.
And we "had" to use the auditorium area of the museum...they wanted us on stage because of the CLASSIC CAR SHOW that was goin on outside. Whoa! Way too cool!
See what you miss by playing hookey? Laughing

Hope to see you guys next month...........Joel

Any confirmation on this? I'll be visiting family that week and hope to come by and watch and listen. If so, same location and time as in May?
