Jerry Brightman & Chuck Lettes--Professionals!!
"Pressure" takes many forms, but I would wager none could exceed what Chuck Lettes and Jerry Brightman felt 'heading' and 'tailing' Buddy Emmons' first night at the Texas Jamboree. But wow, what a show both put on. I thought Chuck's dealie was a terrific performance Friday night, and Jerry's show was absolutely superb. Both his and Steve's guitar expertise through out the 30 minutes was simply great. (I'm convinced the guy with the Tele is not of this world). In any case both guys did a great job, and it takes 'pros' to do what they did. Thanks.

Hello Fred,
Thank you for your kind comments...I had a great time in Dallas this year, and just returned home last night. After I left Dallas, I went to the Dairy Jam, in Wisconsin and also met a lot of great players and people.
Thanks again for your comments...

Hi Joey,
It was great getting to spend some time with you once again in Dallas...and I was really happy to have "that guy" Steve, as Fred mentioned above, play my set. It won't be the last time...I gave him credit in another post I just did on the Forum...

Thanks Jerry for letting me sit in with you You were amazing!
I would like to thank everyone that I met that made me feel so at home in Dallas. I appreciate also, the comments in Dallas, about what I didn't play Which I totally understand and have the most respect for in the steel guitar. I would not want to miss a lick or a feel from any player that is playing because I would be affraid of missing something. I could just sit back & tick-tock all day & night long listening to the great music I heard in Texas!
God Bless Roy, Paul & the guys' that hung in from the beginning til the end with the houseband
Take care all!

Steve,
It was my pleasure to have you on my set...and as I said, before you played to the audience, you are one of the reason's God invented the Telecaster...
I look forward to the next time, and maybe this time, we can rehearse a song or two before we play...
Best regards and don't go get so busy with everyone else, that you forget the little people like me...
Best regards my friend,
Jerry
