Early Seirra / D-10 Wright Custom - for the last time

Post by Tom Sullinger »

I really need to turn this D-10 Wright Custom because I do not play it and the wife said something must go. I have had it on the forum but I was told I was asking too much.
I am down to $950.00 + Shipping OBO if anyone is interested.
It is a good looking steel and the photos are on the forum but I do not know where to find them.
Send me your email and I can get them to you that way.

I don't know the full copedent but it looks like an Emmons pedal arrangement on the front neck and only 3 pedals on the back neck. Also, it appears that RKL has multiple pulls on the back neck.

Even with a non-standard back neck, this is an exceptional deal. I'd buy it but "someone" thinks I have too many old steel guitars.

Answer to your question Dave

Post by Tom Sullinger »

Hello Dave, I do own this Wright Custom but I am a bassman and do not play steel.
I have no idea what you are asking but I do hope someone on the forum can help us both.

Some close-up pictures of the undercarriage would help answer those questions. It's not too hard to change the copedent on this model. The only trick is that if bell cranks are on the wrong neck, you have to pull out the crossrod to move them past that center support.

A lot of people only use 3 pedals on the C6th anyway.

2 necks, 6 pedals, 4 knee levers - to me this seems like a no-brainer at $950.
