If I read the flyer I picked up in Dalas, it is 1 year, why so long till they build one? Williams is about 2 months John waited for his U12. Carters not very long. I know one person went ot Mullen and built his own. Not a bad deal.

Some companies have longer wait times than that. But, if you want a killer MSA, don't wait at all: buy JayDee Maness's MSA Studio Pro, for sale here on the Forum. It's an awesome axe, the price is great, and there's no waiting at all.

I was looking for a S10 for gigs where I wouldn't need my D10. I called Bill and he had two in stock (keyless 3x5) and his price was less than I could find one in the "Instruments for Sale" section, and they were new.

Ernest....thank you for your question.......

The long delivery applies to the Millennium and not the Legend, Studio Pro, or the SuperSlide. The reason for the delayed delivery is availability of material and the requirements of our supplier, neither of which has anything to do with MSA itself.

Now I have a better unerstanding of the time, it was a question on my mind why so long, I can understand when there is outside suppliers, must be the wood and the time it takes for the processing of the finish. It just did not seem right to take that much time, I was thinking of all products. Thanks for your as usually well timed replies and your concern for us to have better knowledge,I will own one one of these days.

Actually, the wood guitars are the ones with the shorter delivery time. The Milleniums are the ones with carbon-fibre bodies, so presumably the issues surround getting carbon fibre (which has a lot of other uses/demand).

I blame global warming. Those carbon fibre trees are becoming harder to find.

I ordered and payed up front for a MSA about 23 years ago. Still waiting for it. I wonder when I will get it.
