10 String tuning options?

I just got a 10 string Superslide. I think I love it. Do any of you guys have suggestions for tunings? I'm used to pedals doing the changing. Thanks G

If you were an E9 pedaller, Tom Moreell's 10 string will probably be very good for you. (G#-F#-E-C#-B-G#-F#-E-D-E) if memory serves.

Is that string order, (G#-F#-E-C#-B-G#-F#-E-D-E), from high to low?

Do you know what string gauges are most commonly used for this tuning?
Years ago I had an old Gibson 6 string and it sure seemed like the bigger, the better or it was treble without a cause.

I tune my 10-str. E9/13 Tuning like this:
1 = G# .012p
2 = E .015p
3 = C# .018p
4 = B .020p
5 = G# .022w
6 = F# .026w
7 = E .030w
8 = D .034w
9 = B .038w
10 = E .056w
I also use an extended-version of Jerry Byrd's 8-str. C6/A7:
1 = D .017p
2 = B .020p
3 = E .015p
4 = C .018p
5 = A .022p
6 = G .024w
7 = E .030w
8 = C# .036w
9 = C .038w
10 = Lo-A .070w
And I use an extended-version of Jerry Byrd's 7-str. C-Diatonic:
1 = F .014p
2 = D .017p
3 = E .015p
4 = C .018p
5 = B .020p
6 = A .022p
7 = G .024w
8 = F .028w
9 = E .030w
10 = C .036w

Sorry. I don't. But on John Ely's website is a string guage chart that many have found useful (including me).

I just use the same C6 tuning as the back neck of the pedal steel. The top string can be tuned to a "G" or "D", whichever you're accustomed to, and it lends itself pretty well to non-pedal work.

Hi, I have been using C6 with the chromatic strings up top and find it real handy.

top to bottom D,B,E,C,A,G,E,C(C#),A(Bb),F(G,C,A)

The strings in brackets are alternative and have a good use but most times I just tune to the C and F.
