Bob Taillefer Video added at SteelGuitarJazz.com
From French-Canadian television, 1991, an original tune written by Bob called 'Sling Swing'. Complete with horn section. Yes! Check it out in the Video Screening Room at www.SteelGuitarJazz.com

Jim-Nice jazz site, but I cliked on your URL and got "all the things you are". Sounded like Doug Jernigan. A great jazz tune, and he was really picking.
I remember seeing Hal Rugg playing it at Jeff Newmans school I attended for a week in June 1977. he really tore it up. I am glad to see you have expanded your Jazz site to includ many of the great players. Everyone on the Forum should listen in on all those guys, even if they just play Country...al.

Al, I think you may have been hearing 'Birdland' played by Jan Jonsson, which starts automatically now when you go to the website. You should see a little mp3 player at the bottom of the screen: just click the stop button on that and then you should be able to play Bob T's video. Let me know if that works out for you.
Thanks for the nice words on the website. I appreciate your support!
