May's free gospel tab---"Crying In The Chapel"
This month I am broadening the base somewhat with "Crying In The Chapel" as my free gospel tab.
Elvis had the big recording of this song in 1960 but it goes back to 1953 when the author, Artie Glenn, wrote it for his son, Darrell, to sing while still in high school. Artie had a band called the Rhythm Riders. It became a local hit and publishers got hold of it and it went nationwide.
I think you will enjoy playing it and it is free for the asking. Just let me know your postal mailing address if you haven't received tab from me before.
It is written for the E9th pedal tuning.
