I just recorded this old folk song in my home studio. I used my Rogue Metal bodied resonator. I also played all the other instruments and sang on the track. Click on the link and download file, it shouldn't take too long.

Enjoyed your aforementioned recording..........

Good Job!

Unique voice and delivery. A great thing when everybody else sounds like each other/the same.

Good recording technique and fine balance.

Ray;
Did you have any trouble opening up the song?
I am new to MEDIAFIRE, this is my first file download.

Thanks
Dom Very Happy

I was a bit confused by the layout........
and a bit miffed that I had to download something else again, just to hear the music, but......
it all worked out just fine. When are you putting your next one up>?

I was wondering if people would be reluctant to download files... But it is safe I promise!

Here is another one "O Shenandoah"...
Thanks
Dom

Nice picking on this one, you've got a lightly swinging vibe in there I like. Also, the song suits your voice (or is it vice versa?) very well.

Nice! One of my favorite tunes. You do it well.
Good swinging vibe and nice job singing!
I worked up a Travis picked Wayfaring Stranger awhile back, but never tried doing it lap style.

It wouldn't download for me. It asked me for a user ID and password. Sad

Alan;
Click on the link in the post and it will open the page. Then click the download on the left side of the page. "CLICK HERE TO START DOWNLOAD" It is a bit confusing the first time...

You will not have to sign up to download a file.

Thanks
Dom Smile

Okay, it worked that time. This is one of my favorite songs and I've recorded it many times over the years with many different arrangements. I enjoyed your arrangement. Well done.
