I got the schedule from you through snail mail. I was just going to check the website from time to time for any changes or added info. Any important changes will probably show up on this post.
Craig,
I haven't been able to acquire any good Kryptonite since the P/P stopped production. I assume Lashley used it all and he can't get any more until Nasa brings a load back from the moon or we find some on Mars? Until then all you Emmons drivers are stuck with a new LeGrande with the hickory changer shafts. Too bad! Until then, Zum rules!......Except for this old birdseye lacquer MSA with the TT pickup

Dale...it's the perfect seat for on stage nerves when you lose control. Or if you have to play when you have influenza. Those Rock Hudson Designer Jeans with the zipper in the back work great with that "packer seat".

Craig...nope..not green and gold. Not on the outside anyway. It has a #1 and #2 in it.

I just got home from the Jam and want to thank Lefty, Dale, and Kirk for the great time. The players were good as was the back-up band. The Jam just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Got back from the Waterloo Jam, Barb & I had a wonderful time. It seems to be getting BIGGER & BIGGER! Lefty, you & the gang have done a SUPER job building this event! Congrat's on a job WELL done!

This is definitely a show that is becoming a major event for Waterloo and Iowa. A huge old ballroom at full capacity. With steel player guality and sound guality at peak performance. To top it off, we had the opportunity to hear these great featured players: Scotty, Terry Bethel and Joe Wright being backed up by a great house band along with super steel players from surrounding states.
Compliments must also go to those that organized it and kept it rolling: Lefty Schrage, Dale Tiemessen, Kirk Dighton and their wives cracking the whip

This was the best jam yet. Super players, super people that can't be beat. Dennis- you played a great set as usual. It was great also having Dale "By God" Hopkins filling in on fiddle throughout the day. What talent, and what a friend. Barb, Linda and Kim deserve a great deal of credit along with the rest of their, families for doing the hard work of ticket and merchandise sales and displays and greeting people as they arrived. If you didn't attend the12th annual NE IA Steel Guitar Jam last weekend, you missed a good one! The weather was great, the crowd was larger than ever, and the players were superb! In addition to the fine picking of 24 regional steelers, recognition also goes out to Scotty for his talented musical expression on the fry pan; to Terry Bethel for his masterful touch, creative chord work and great seminar; and to the undefinable Joe Wright who brought the house down both days. These guys absolutely impressed the crowd with their outstanding performance!! We were also very pleased to have with us again our good friend and fiddle player, Dale Hopkins (recently recognized for Outstanding Achievement by the Missouri Fiddlers Ass'n). And, of course, it was great fun having Eddie Lange with us knowing the busy schedule he keeps in N'ville. The Jam is an event "where no one's a stranger" and just keeps on growing and growing and growing every year (like that battery)! I thank everyone who contributed to the show's success and look forward to seeing you next year. ...Lefty
