A few pages back, someone asked for a picture of Buddy playing an Emmons. Well, here he is at Chattanooga playing Brown Bart.

As always, he'll always manage a smile if someone's taking a photo!

Here's a shot of Mike Sweeney at the same show - there were a number of Emmons guitars at that particular event.....

Here's my newly acquired SKH in truly mint condition. Someone must have bought it and never played it. Even the case is immaculate.

Hi Ken
That doesn't look like an SKH to me. It doesn't seem to have the right block and comb bridge that it should have or in fact the shorter key head. Are you sure it's an SKH.
Is it an all pull ?
Lovely looking guitar though.

Barry, I agree. "SKH" stands for short key head. The keyhead in the picture is a long key head. Also, the bridge is not an original Emmons' LeGrande bridge, since (as you say) it is not supported between each finger.

Also, if it is a P/P it is not an SKH, since All SKH's were "All-Pulls".

I agree, it is a gorgeous guitar. Sure wish we had a picture of the underside. Since the whole world ( ) knows I care more about the underside than the top side.

Barry

She's definitely a push-pull but now I know its not a SKH. The guitar is a transitional model with LeGrande pedals, and was put together by Jimmy Crawford (allegedly).

Here are my two worhorses - a '97 8+5 (a Strayhorn guitar that I've only quite recently acquired - it sounds amazing!) and my faithful 2000 black LG111
- mine since it was new and it's done thousands of gigs!

A view of my favourite Telecaster thrown in for good measure.

Re the guitar Buddy is playing, am I seeing things or is the opening for tuning the raise and lower changer fingers larger than usual. It appears to have a triple lower.
