Schubert's "Ave Maria" tab
Over the weekend I worked out the tab for Schubert's version of "Ave Maria".
I previously did the version by Bach.
However, I believe this one by Schubert is more familiar.
If you would like to try this version of "Ave Maria", I would be happy to mail it to you.
Like my other tabs, it is written for the E9th pedal tuning.
Take care,
Erv

Dear Irv,
I liked the Bach-Gounod version that you tabbed. Thanks very much again. I guess one could transfer a midi file of the Bach Prelude #1 in C into BIAB, in order to play your tab of the melody. Or get a keyboard player to play it...
Please send me the Schubert "Ave Maria," which I also love. You really worked that one up quickly.
I'm still working on "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling," because my demo TablEdit only saved 23 measures of 3/4 time. Figuring it out seems like a good way to learn the best available frets, pedals, and slides.
If I might ask a question related to your other offerings of tabs, do your 3 books/CD's of Gospel tunes (plus 1 book of Hawaiian) come in a binding, loose, or on the CD in a .pdf file, please? I'm itching to purchase, but I have to raise the scratch. Thanks for any information.
Very respectfully,
John

John,
All my tab is loose in single format.
I have some tab 'n tracks combinations set together.
There are two gospel sets and one Christmas set.
The gospel sets consist of 12 gospel tabs with a backup tracks CD for $22 each, plus postage, and the Christmas set is 10 Christian Christmas tabs with backup tracks CD for $20, plus postage.
I do not have backup tracks for the Hawaiian songs yet. I really need to get busy on some, however, as I've had several requests for Hawaiian backup tracks.
I will get Schubert's "Ave Maria" in the mail for you today.
Take care,
Erv

I know a few people who would LOVE to hear Ave Maria on the steel. Any chance you could send it out to me too? Thanks.
