Although building a lap steel seems relatively straightforward, and there is also info available on the web, are there any recomendations for a book for building a lap (preferably a double neck).
thanks

I am not sure if they have any info on double neck consoles, but I purchased a CD on the subject sometime back from Randy Cordle at Bluestem Strings.
http://www.bluestemstrings.com
the CD has a lot information and helpful photographs, plans etc on it.
As I remember there was a lot of free information available at his website as well. Have a look you will not be disappointed. |
