Scotty,
Do you use the Emmons set-up, but with your A pedal being a Franklin?

Pretty fair flailin' there, Scotty. Ain't them Mullen somethin'? I heard through the grapevine that Nick wanted to trade me one of his PP's for mine, it sounds so good. That right, Nick?

Hey Nick,
Yeah I use an emmons set up starting on the 2nd pedal. On my 1st pedal I raise the 6th string(G#) to a B to give me a unison. It's good for speed and also a nice pretty unison change in the open position. I raise the 1st and 2nd string and lower the 6th on LKR and lower 5 and 6 on LKU. Trade for a PP Oh my gosh!!!!Mullen are good but I don't know??? Nick are you still doing Radio? I did that rodeo for 23 years. Hated to give it up but the business got to changing to much. I still do some production every now and then.
Thanks BC... Love ya too. Tell Linda and Deb howdy and I promise SOMEDAY we will get to pick together again.
Skip Thanks man!!!!!!
I'm in the mood so I might do some more tonight
Stay tuned!!!!!

Chuck asked me to email him an explanation of one of the licks I did in bud's bounce. It was pretty big so I am uploading it on my tube site. I'm a little rusty on my teaching skills so bear with me.

Hey Scotty, Ole Skipper was just havin a bad dream about me wantin to trade off one of my Emmons.
NO CAN DO!
You asked about the Radio business. We're in the process of selling out our interest in the station. So right now I'm sorta semi-retired and taking a little time off to relax. Been down to Florida 3 times since New Years. So look out, I'm probably coming over to the Ozarks to see you next. Git the guest-room ready and tell your wife I like Italian food. :P
BTW, that's a nice Mullen you have. I think those RP's like yours are better guitars than the G2's. But you know me and my stuborn ole opinion. . . . . . . . .ain't nothing that stacks up to a Emmons P/P.

I have looked at Mullen for a while. I bought this one because it is a laquer guitar and has great low end along with clean highs. I have always looked for guitars that way plus it all ready had 9 & 8 on the pedals. I think the laquer vs formica is the difference. I don't know for sure I just play em.
Might be thinking about coming to the Ozarks in July. They have their steel show on the third week in July and it's an excellent show with lots of great local pickers plus some Nash cats as well. It is held in Branson. which is about 2 hours from me but yeah i got a guest room and I make a mean Lasagna!
