Myself and Mark Dunn playing Farewell Party

Post by David Hartley »

I logged onto youtube today for the first time in many weeks. I have 27 personal messages which I will reply to soon. Many apologies.

Just after I got back from Dallas, Mark came over to collect some goodies I bought back for him. We has a couple of hours on the steel guitar together. We got 9 videos made. I have just uploaded this first one. I will post more in the week. He is a very fine player.

That's country, with just the right amount of bells and whistles. Great job!

David thanks for posting that video....I've never heard "Farewell Party" played with as much taste and tone as you and Mark displayed in the video. Please post the other videos too! To say you guys are Great Players would be a gross understatement!

Superb playing by you and Mark! And the Rains are up to the task as per usual!

Beautiful job gentlemen!

David,
Another superb performance... This is the first time I have seen Mark play. He is another excellent musician. How many more of you are there over across the pond? I now await the rest of the videos you just recorded. Keep them coming!

David and Mark...... What a way to start my day off. I got my cup of coffee and just set back and listend to some very fine steel playing. I am only two yrs. in to playing, and I just sit and wonder if I will ever be able to play half as good with the time I have left. Very nice. Keep more coming. You are one of my favorite players on this forum. Jack<><
