Is there any way to convert a 1.3 USB to a 2.0 without changing the motherboard? I have a pci card with USB connectors on it and I cannot get a 2.0 driver. I am using winxp pro. I cannot find any info on this. thanks Winston May |

If your pci card is not made to be USB 2.0 to begin with you need to buy a different card. It's more than just a driver issue. _________________ A couple of guitars

The original spec, around 1996, was 1.0, then a little later, circa Win 9x, 1.1, then later, 2.0. If your motherboard only supports USB 1.x, it must be very old and out-dated. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
